Michele Adler

Michele Adler studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin and the Uni­versity of Sussex in Brighton, South East England, spe­cial­ising in the European­isa­tion and in­ter­na­tion­al­isa­tion of private and com­mer­cial law. She is cur­rently com­plet­ing her doc­tor­ate in pub­lic me­dia and press law, fo­cus­ing on stra­tegic leg­al com­mu­nic­a­tion and its reg­ulat­ory challenges.

As part of her legal trainee­ship, she gained ex­per­i­ence at the Wis­senschaft­liche Di­en­ste of the Ger­man Bundestag (Par­lia­ment­ary Re­search Ser­vice) in the De­part­ment for Cul­ture, Me­dia and Sport, as well as in the leg­al de­part­ment of Axel Spring­er SE, where she worked on me­dia and de­fam­a­tion law, as well as press eth­ics. Ad­di­tion­ally, she un­der­took a three-month in­ter­na­tion­al second­ment at a global law firm in New York.

Her legal practice focuses on ad­vising and rep­res­ent­ing busi­nesses and in­di­vidu­als in mat­ters of me­dia and de­fam­a­tion law, with a par­tic­u­lar em­phas­is on repu­ta­tion management.
